Psalm 90 1-6
A prayer of Moses the man of God.
1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place
throughout all generations.
2 Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You turn people back to dust,
saying, “Return to dust, you mortals.”
4 A thousand years in your sight
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night.
5 Yet you sweep people away in the sleep of death—
they are like the new grass of the morning:
6 In the morning it springs up new,
but by evening it is dry and withered.
Many of us are going through a struggle. We have been weathering a storm for quite some time in our eyes. Weeks… Months… Even years for some of us. And we feel it’s a long time. However in God’s eyes… In his time… It could be minutes… Seconds that we are weathering a storm.
I have learned when going through a storm that God is not going to bring you out until he is ready. It’s not always something you did and its not always you haven’t gotten the lesson from the storm. God just does things on his own time. It builds us in way we never thought possible. Storms of depression, poverty, pain, sickness, bad relationships, heartbreak, heartache…
We all go through them and we all experience them more than once.
However I encourage us today to always remember that wr have a plan then God has a plan. Things arent going to work our way of our plan doesn’t match up with his.
We are not on our own time. We are on God’s time. Be blessed.
