We see a variety of people daily

Perceiving them in different ways

Basing our perceptions of them off of

Many things

Clothes, hairstyles, height…

And we determine how much respect we have for them

Based on these things

Even though we are all human beings

Layered with flaws

Filled with sin

Saturated in mistakes and regrets

But because of an outward appearance…

We determine inward character and personality

Looking over those with great gifts

And potential because of where they are

What they wear or even where they have come from

Not realizing

Death will one day catch us all

Just like sickness, trial and trouble

Equalizers arise

No matter how much money, fame

Or fortune you possess

A tombstone awaits you

There is only one heaven

And one hell

And no one who lives among you

Can put you in either

So respect your fellow man

Because one day

We will all be

On the same level
