Isaiah 43:18-19King James Version (KJV)

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Lately, I have been going through a rough time in my life. People who have said they would be there, support me and always have my back have ultimately turned their backs on me.  They have moved on to bigger and better things and left my side either unknowingly or on bad terms. I was hurt.  I was in a place where I felt that no one cared but…. then I realized.

GOD IS ALWAYS THERE! I was so busy being stuck in the past from all of these old friends and memories that I did not realize I was standing still and they had simply decided to move forward. No longer did I decided to be a ghost and live in the past. I decided to enjoy the gift of the present and be in great anticipation for the blessings of the future.

I charge us today. Let the past go. Remember but don’t reminisce too long. You could greatly hinder yourself from many blessings God has for you.  Eyes have not seen… Ears have not heard… what God has in store for you. Be blessed!
