Only Account For You

Matthew 7:7-12New International Version (NIV)

Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

For a long time, I was worried about who would talk to me, who wouldn’t, and why. Then I realized…. IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT THEY DO AND WHY! I can only account for me and my actions. If a person disconnects themselves from me, it’s their loss. As the verses say in a nutshell, answers are most times not hard to find. Accepting them is where we screw up. Once doors are opened we don’t have the courage to walk through, afraid of what’s on the other side. I dare you today. Quit worrying about people, things and situations. Accept those answers God gave you and continue to progress. I know it hurts, I know it’s easier said than done, but you can do it!!! Dont worry about people. Worry about you and how you treat them. Be blessed.
