1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you

One day, I decided to go to get a bite to eat with my brother Jalen Havior. As we talked, a homeless man came into the restaurant and sat for a bit. We honestly at first sight thought nothing of with it being the dead of winter and it was freezing outside.

Soon after, he began to speak to us and compliment the glow we had. He transitioned into his story and how he was managing. Yet in the midst of it all, he still believed God would make everything alright. Despite his financial state, regardless of his health… He had joy in living.

I charge us today to look at situations and find the good in them. No matter how dark it is, there is always some light. Be blessed.

This is so true. It is easy to fall I to depression with what you don’t have. Or where you lack. But God gives to us all and when we are appreciative of what we have and maybe even understand why we don’t have… You are already blessed. Job had everything and was stripped down of everything that gave him status…. But his faith was never touched, and because of this… He was blessed beyond measure and his “valuables” were returned to him. He is a leader to us all in the aspect of faith.
